Women In Action
Women's Lounge is a women-led project providing a networking platform for local women in Thamesmead. Our goal is to integrate women into mainstream community through social and educational activities, especially vulnerable women from different backgrounds. We promote women's rights and welfare in a linguistically and culturally appropriate manner, and partner with others to provide programs to meet women's needs.
About Us
We concentrate on matters pertaining to the rights and well-being of marginalized women and their families from various backgrounds in a way that is appropriate for their culture, society, and language. We facilitate and provide,through partnerships, programming that addresses the needs of women.
